Micellar Cleansing Water

My one cat photobombed this pic but you can see the Bioderma and the Boots. I use the one with the pink lid but got the one with the green lid for my stepdaughter.

Facial Wipes were launched quite a few years now as a quick easy one-step way to remove makeup. They were said to replace eye makeup remover, cleanser, toner and in some cases, moisturiser. I like to use them when I travel long-haul and to refresh my face during the day in very hot weather. As a cleanser though – not so much. My face never feels or looks clean, no matter how good the facial wipe.

So when the latest Micellar or cleansing waters were launched with the same promise I viewed them with some sceptism. But, as with many things available from French pharmacies – they really work a treat. My favourite is the French Bioderma but recently I tried the good old Boots one and it really works well. There are loads and loads of them popping up all over so give them a bash – you may be glad you did! I like the Nuxe and Yves Rocher ones but just about every cosmetic company has jumped on the bandwagon.
