I have said it before but I will say it again. To my mind the best television series EVER is The Wire. It went largely under the radar and never won a major award but it blows everything else I have ever watched way out of the water. I actually feel envy for anyone who has not seen it because they have that wonderful experience waiting for them. If you can, buy the whole series because you will become addicted.
I am not going to give a synopsis or a plot outline. Just watch it – you won’t be sorry. And say hi to Bubbles and Omar for me 🙂
Excellent series. I have the whole lot on DVD. Also got Homicide Life on the Street on DVD as well. Same team of writers but The Wire was the best. I think it will take a lot to beat it as well.
Oh I must try Homicide as well then!
