This is a beautiful limited edition Andy Warhol range of pens. Troika release new versions each season and the issues range from 3000 to 6000. Each pen is numbered on the cap and is presented in a beautiful gift box. The pens are nestled in a sturdy cardboard box filled with shredded paper. The pen itself is in a red velvet pouch and comes with a refill. There is also a small booklet in the box with some information about the pen. The feel of these pens in your hands is incredible. They are very well balanced and are solid and have some heft to them. You feel that what you are writing is very special. I can definitely recommend this as a gift for yourself or for a friend.
There are many options to choose from regarding both keyrings and pens but my favourite are the two Soup Can editions and the Banana one. The key rings do not come with the pens.
My strategy for present-buying is to buy things as I find them – that way I always have nice gifts and don’t have to stress at the last minute. I stock up on handmade cards when I go to Africa so I don’t have to worry about those either.
