It captures the suffering and tragedy of this whole business – from the wooden wall separating Oscar from everyone, to his posture and the agony on his face. Yet it is a candid shot taken in a gloomy, bustling crowded courtroom in Pretoria by the brilliant Siphiwe Sibeko . A journalist acquaintance told me yesterday from inside the court and a few feet away from Pistorius ‘he is a broken, broken, broken man’. Sibeko has captured this perfectly with one press of the shutter.
